UCU HELPS UKRAINE

KRAPKA Proceeds Support the UCU Helps Ukraine Project.

Launched January 2015 by UCU staff, the project initially supported wounded soldiers returning from the war in Donbass region.  Its goal is provide direct financial aid to soldiers needing help to pay for prosthesis, operations, medicines, etc.  Given the escalation of war in Ukraine, the program will need more funds to support the influx of wounded soldiers.

Nearly 100% of funds (minus the cost of wiring to Ukraine) are given directly to soldiers.  Collaborating with the Lviv Military Hospital in western Ukraine, volunteers select candidates, directly deliver funds & obtain written and video confirmation from each recipient.

Since 2015, over $500K has been collected with $250K raised since the war escalated on February 24, 2022.  To date, 150 soldiers have benefitted.

In March 2022, the project's mandate expanded to collect funds to buy non-lethal military gear & equipment due to significant requests from Ukraine.

We are proud to donate profits from sale of KRAPKA streetwear to UCU Helps Ukraine.
